Obioma Uchenna Emenekwe is a Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist with advanced specialization in Chemical Pathology and Toxicological Sciences. She is a clinical scientist with the Directorate of Health Services at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, where she plays an active role in diagnostic laboratory services, biochemical investigations, and patient care within the university healthcare system.
She is a registered member of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSCN) and practices under the professional regulation of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), demonstrating commitment to ethical practice, quality assurance, and continuous professional development in medical laboratory science.
She holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) degree from Madonna University Nigeria and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemical Pathology and Toxicology from Ebonyi State University, where she developed strong competencies in clinical biochemistry, toxicological evaluation, experimental research design, and laboratory-based disease investigation.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of toxicology, translational laboratory medicine, and climate change related health impacts.
