Dr Fidelis Abam

Dr Fidelis Abam is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering with Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Nigeria. Currently, he is the head of the Energy, Exergy and Environment Research Group (EEERG). He holds a PhD degree in Energy and power technology from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and a Master’s degree in thermo-fluid engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. His research specifics include energy, exergy and environment, renewable energy systems and thermal power plants.

He is currently actively involved in the following research: Modelling sectoral energy consumption and environmental sustainability, multi-generation energy systems based on Kalina and organic Rankine cycles for green environment, and long-term energy consumption and supply projection (Renewable energy penetration) for country wise policy development.
