Chinedum Oscar Nwachukwu
Chinedum Oscar Nwachukwu is a driven and responsible energy and thermo fluid –specialized mechanical engineer; dedicated researcher adaptable to challenging situations; has good interpersonal skills; and capable of functioning efficiently in team environment as well as using own initiative.
He holds a bachelor degree (B.Eng.) in mechanical engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria; master degree (M.Eng.) from the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State, Nigeria; and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD) from the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State, Nigeria, specializing in Energy and Thermo-fluid Engineering (E.T.E).
He also holds levels 1, 2 and 3 Health Safety and Environment (HSE) certification from the Nigerian Institute for Safety Professionals (NISP), has considerable project management experience and excellent proficiency in numerous relevant computer software packages.
Chinedum Oscar Nwachukwu’s research interest traverses energy systems modelling, renewable energy conversion of wastes, climate change mitigation technologies and effective utilization of renewable energy technologies, evidenced in reputable international journal publications.
He has a rich blend of teaching, industry, research and administrative experience which informs his organized and methodical approach to work, and ensuring empirically justifiable, accurate and replicable results.
He has attended several energy and climate change conferences and workshops as part of his professional development. He is teachable, open to amassing newer skills and responsibilities within a wide range of research area; and is passionate about contributing to expand the knowledge frontiers in renewable energy, climate change and other environmentally-friendly forms of power generation.
